On 26 March 2025, The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), through Tourism Malaysia, hosted the Ramadan Iftar Evening, bringing together diplomats, tourism stakeholders, and industry players to strengthen partnerships and foster bilateral relations in the lead-up to Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VM2026).

Officiated by YB Dato’ Tiong King Sing, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, the event also featured a special VM2026 promotional video, highlighting Malaysia’s diverse tourism attractions and cultural heritage.

Also in attendance were the Secretary General of MOTAC, the Director General of Tourism Malaysia, and the Tourism Excos from Perak and Negeri Sembilan, further underscoring the collaborative effort to position Malaysia as a leading global travel destination.
