Toys Come Alive Musical Drama & Sylvanian Families mascot appearance at SStwo Mall
Kuala Lumpur,16th December 2013 – This Christmas, SStwo Mall has been transformed into a magical toy land. From musical drama, mascot appearances to a toys’ fair, it’s all about toys at the mall this festive season. To celebrate this fun theme, a special private preview was hosted by SStwo Mall with the orphans from Pertubuhan Penganut Bodhiksetra Vihara, KL today.
Toys Come Alive musical drama by Total Gymnastique featured a group of young, talented gymnasts in a play about a witch who hated Christmas and brought all the toys at Santa‘s Toy Factory alive with her spell on Christmas Eve. It was up to Santa and his trusted elves to bring them back just in time for Christmas for all the children.
Apart from the play, the famous Sylvanian Families collectibles’ mascot made a special appearance and will do so throughout this festive period. Sylvanian Families is a line of collectible anthropomorphic animal figurines made of flocked plastic. The figures have spanned several animated adaptations and video games based on them.
Mr Eddie Choong, new Centre Manager of SStwo Mall quoted, “We have created a theme with children in mind this year, and so many of our activities surround that theme. We hope families will flock our mall to enjoy the various activities we have put together.”
There will also be a Toys Fair from today till 1st January 2014. Everything from Barbie, Disney, Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, Smurfs, Mind Warcraft and much more will be available. Along with this, there will be concurrent activities and prizes worth RM16,000 to be won courtesy of Passion Marketing, the company behind the Toys Fair.
Other interesting activities will include Santa Claus walkabout, Carolling, Christmas colouring contest, Cutest Baby contest, X’mas Talent search, Lara’s Place Children Business Fair and Balloon drop surprises.
