Kuala Lumpur – 4 June – The 14th edition of ARCHIDEX, the International Architecture, Interior Design & Building Exhibition, Malaysia starts on a new date this year. This trade exhibition for the built industry professionals will be held in the month of June, from the 19 – 22 June at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia.
Touted as the region’s most significant exhibition, it has built an unsurpassed reputation for itself – drawing together on an annual basis; architects, interior designers, developers and other built related professionals to congregate. All under one roof, industry professionals can conveniently source for their respective industry’s needs while meeting industry providers and experts of the field face-to-face.
A Winner of the MACEOS 2011 Best Trade Exhibition Award, ARCHIDEX is the most-awaited Malaysian built industry exhibition, jointly organised by PAM (Malaysian Institute of Architects) and C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd). ARCHIDEX is where industry professionals and specifiers get updated on the latest and new emerging innovations and information – spanning from new contacts, new materials or products, systems, technologies and other features related to the architecture, interior design and built sectors.
Setting ARCHIDEX as a key event of PAM’s Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival 2013 (KLAF) and PAM Convention 2013, it will bring you four days of power-packed architectural and design related trade businesses, product launches, an avenue for learning and to get better insights through the conferences and forums, meetings, awards and so on.
This Award-winning exhibition expects to welcome over 32,000 visitors from 50 countries; with 10,000 of them are architects, interior designers and developers. The exhibition too, will be stretching out to 8 exhibition halls with 1,100 booths and 500 exhibitors from 13 countries, hailing from Austria, Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand as well as Malaysia.
There will be three international conference and forums to be held concurrently with ARCHIDEX too, namely International Architectural Design Conference (DATUM:KL), Kuala Lumpur Design Forum (KLDF) and Professional Practice Forum (PPF) .
There is also the not-to-be-missed Biz@ARCHIDEX. It is a trade presentation by selected exhibitors who will be featuring the latest insights of their respective products and its technical facts. Participants learn and get the latest visions on the products of the built environment for industry professionals.
Similar to the previous years, the New Product Award will be carried on in this ARCHIDEX to honour and recognise products of which fulfil the criteria on design, innovation, technology, lifestyle & society and standards. A total of 38 nominated products by 32 companies will vie for the Award.
Several networking events held alongside included the Designers’ Day and Architects’ Day to be held on the 20 and 21 June, respectively, the Arcasia Networking Cocktail, the Building Industry Gala Night (BIG Nite) and many others.
